In 2001, sound designer/composer/remixer and architect of aural mayhem
Richard Devine
flew out to L.A. to score two Nike commercials on set, using just a PowerBook and some headphones. “I had to fly out to Universal Studios. I did the whole thing in
Logic Audio with another software sampler, Native Instrument’s Battery
— it was completely done on that. It was just crazy,” he recalls.
“I love the Native Instruments stuff, a lot. Like Battery, Spectral Delay,
the B4 — the whole set,” says Grammy-winning composer, programmer,
engineer, remixer and producer for Tweaker, music, film, TV and games, and former
drummer for NIN, Chris Vrenna.
