In December 2003, Digidesign acquired the assets of the renowned plug-in company,
Bomb
Factory. Digidesign will now add the
company’s brand name and catalog of 27 kickass plug-ins (those shipping
as of December 29, 2003) to Digidesign’s product line.
Bomb Factory has long been recognized for producing some of the best plug-ins in
the industry, with very high quality processing capabilities. The newly acquired
Bomb Factory plug-ins will continue to be supported on Pro Tools|HD Accel, Pro
Tools|HD, Pro Tools|24 MIX, and Pro Tools LE systems in Mac OS X and Windows XP
operating systems. Be sure to visit the Digidesign online catalog for supported
formats of individual plug-ins.
Digidesign also plans to upgrade these plug-ins for future Pro Tools platforms,
and to support current and future Digidesign control surfaces.
