The Antares Filter
is a classic analog-sounding filter module with four true stereo multi-mode filters. Choose from
low-pass, highpass, bandpass and notch modes, a tweakable cutoff slope, four
delay sections to play with, and several filter routing possibilities.
With this virtual processor, you can make some seriously insane filter effects that will be
envied by the best outboard synths around. You also get four multi-shapeable LFOs,
four envelopes, an envelope follower and two rhythm generators. MIDI controls
are abundant and all signals can be are routed through a mod matrix with lots of
patches to choose from.
The Antares Filter has two drum-machine-like rhythm
generators and everything in this app can be locked to the apps tempo, or to an outside MIDI host.

Feeling the Filter
Grammy-winning composer/engineer/producer/remixer and sound designer Chris Vrenna ( NIN/ Tweaker)attests that his newest, most fun plug-in is the Antares Filter.
Its really bizarre, he says. Its got like four
color-coded filters, so you can keep track of them all. The whole thing locks to
beat clock going from the computer, so you can get it all synched up. There are
really good step sequencers in there, and you can synch it to the master.
You can also do little patterns on it with all the filters, he adds.
Its totally crazy. Thats just a dream, sound design-wise,
because a lot of the game stuff Ive been doing has been sound
design-oriented music.
